Gum and Dental Treatment (Periodontics)
Gum disease is a very serious and often “silent” condition. Not only can it lead to infections in the mouth and tooth loss, new research has shown the connection of gum and dental bone disease to other health concerns. These include diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, pre-term-low-birth-weight babies, miscarriage, and others. Periodontal disease is a chronic condition that can be managed, but never cured. Beyond the standard procedures used to treat the disease we also use advanced soft tissue laser therapy in our office to give our patients the best opportunity to fight this disease.
